ABOUT US:

The purpose of the association is the recognition and provision of human rights and freedoms for everyone. The Equality and Truth Studies Association works in the field of human rights and freedoms and the development of democracy in Turkey, aims to disseminate the common attitudes developed, contributes to democratization by supporting the strengthening of social memory, revealing the truth about human rights violations, ensuring justice and ensuring social equality.

Solution Process, sustained within the framework of Turkey’s democratization and peaceful solution of Kurdish conflict, began to be negotiated with Dolmabahçe Understanding on 28th February 2015. However, when the process was frozen, conflicts that restarted between Kurds and Turkish regime in July 2015 led to the most violent phase of civil war with low density which had continued for 31 years.
